Jacksonville, Fla.-(Newsradio 970 WFLA)-The law firm of Morgan and Morgan is filing a lawsuit over the shooting at a Madden NFL video gaming tournament here.
The firm's Matt Morgan made the announcement of what he calls a negligent security lawsuit. Morgan contends that the shooting could have been prevented had proper security been in place for the tourny.
Morgan says his firm is filing the suit on behalf of some of the victims of the shooting. Morgan is not naming the people he represents.
The law firm has not announced the lawsuit's defendants. The City of Jacksonville owns the property where the shooting took place.
Three people, including the shooter, were killed.
