Black Civil War Historian Stands In Place Of Silent Sam Monument

After the Silent Sam was ripped down in Chapel Hill, North Carolina, H.K. Edgerton stood up to send a message to the 'thugs' that tore it down!

H.K. is an African American man who likes to teach Confederate  history.  He stood in the same place that the monument once was, waving  his flag  with pride.

Edgerton drove more than 200 miles to stand in this spot where the monument once stood.

He's got a lot to say to the 'thugs' who tore the Silent Sam statue down.
