Winter Haven, Fla. (970 WFLA)- A Winter Haven mom gets her seven kids out safely, but loses a friend after a midnight fire sweeps through her home.
There were nine people in the small home in the three thousand block of Timber Line Road when, according to the Polk County Fire Department, an accidental fire started in a room of the house, where the 53 year old victim was found.
News Channel Eight says when the mom saw the fire she grabbed her kids and ran outside. Her name, and the name of the woman who died has not yet been released.
