Hillsborough County , Fla.- (WFLA-TV)- The son of Hillsborough County Sheriff, Chad Chronister went before a judge Thursday. The amateur rapper is a accused of slashing and stabbing a fellow music artist, Phillip Manzi. Chronister claims he was simply standing his ground.
The highlight of the hearing was cell phone video taken a little more than a year ago in a parking lot off Bruce B. Downs Blvd.
The man accused of being at the center of the chaos wielding a knife is George Zachary Chronister. The son of Sheriff Chad Chronister.
The 24 year old sat straight up in court today wearing a suit and did not take the stand.
The hearing for this case will continue sometime next week.
