Should USF Get Their Own On-Campus Stadium?


  • An on-campus football stadium could be coming to the University of South Florida as early as 2022. 
  • The proposed center would cost around $40 million, a report drafted by Convention, Sports, and Leisure International suggests USF should "prioritize fundraising and planning" before diving into such a lofty endeavor. 
  • As issues with SunPass continue, Sen. Bill Nelson has called on the FTC to investigate Conduent- the company with varying political ties that is behind the system issues. 
  • The Central Florida Expressway Authority pulled out of a deal with Conduent in 2015 after learning of their history of mismanaging toll systems in other states.
