Two Men Arrested For Shooting Snook From A Dock In Madeira Beach

Madeira Beach, Fla.(970 WFLA)-Social media is credited with helping Pinellas County Deputies catch two men for illegally killing protected fish with a bow.

Dade City's Derrick Ennis and St. Petersburg's Carlos Gonzalez were arrested this week for an incident this month in Madeira Beach.  Deputies say the two were trespassing at a closed business known as  "Don's Dock" at 215 Boardwalk Place when they used compound bows to illegally shoot some snook, which are out of season.

The men were caught on surveillance video, and they were identified after images of them were posted online.
