Tampa, Fla. (970 WFLA)-A Plant City woman is facing charges for shooting at a truck on I-275 in Tampa. FHP Troopers arrested 24-year-old Destiny Harrison on Wednesday night after she lost control of her SUV and got stuck on the median.
Witnesses told troopers she was swerving all over the highway before firing a shot at a Duke Energy truck for no apparent reason. No one was hit, and the driver of the truck, Giovanni Garcia of Altamonte Springs told troopers he exited onto North Himes Avenue to get away from her.
Inside Harrison's Lincoln Navigator, troopers found three guns, 23 grams of marijuana, drug paraphernalia and alcoholic beverage containers.
Harrison is facing numerous charges including, shooting into an occupied vehicle, aggravated assault with a firearm, improper exhibition of a dangerous firearm, using a firearm while under the influence of an alcoholic beverage or chemical substance, possession of controlled substance, possession of marijuana over 20 grams, alteration or removal of firearm serial number, DUI, no valid driver license and a warrant for VOP-improper exhibition of a dangerous firearm.
