Doctors say accused Seminole Heights serial killer competent to stand trial

TAMPA, Fla. (WFLA) - Three doctors who evaluated accused Seminole Heights serial killer, Howell Donaldson III say he is competent to stand trial.

The doctors were in court Thursday morning for a hearing about the case.

Donaldson is accused of killing four people in the Seminole Heights community last Fall. Doctors evaluated his mental health and possibly also listened to some of the interview from the night he was arrested.

Donaldson is accused in the murders of Benjamin Mitchell, Monica Hoffa, Anthony Naiboa and Ronald Felton. They were shot within a half mile of each other. No connection between the victims was ever revealed.
