Clearwater's Latvala Walks in Sex for Votes case

TALLAHASSEE (970 WFLA) --  No charges for Jack Latvala.

The former state senator from Clearwater resigned last year after he was accused of trading votes for sex.

The State Attorney's Office in Leon County says in a statement that there wasn't enough evidence to prove he was "unlawfully compensated" for his votes. Latvala has denied all accusations.

Former state senator Latvala resigned from the legislature last year after he was accused of groping, body shaming, and swapping votes for sexual favors in the middle of the #MeToo furor.
