Tampa, Fla. (970 WFLA) A shooting outside a South Tampa McDonald's Friday night left a man fatal injuries, Tampa Police said. The shooting of Nicholas A. Mortavazi, 20, happened at about 7:45 p.m. in the parking lot of the McDonald's at 3515 S. Dale Mabry Hwy.
Mortavazi was pronounced dead at an area hospital at about 3:30 Saturday morning, according to a news release from Tampa Police. Detectives question what they call "persons of interest" as they try to establish a motive. They have not made any arrests.
