Sarasota, Fla. (Newsradio 970 WFLA) - Police say they have arrested 39 year-old Spencer Sanders, II, for the murder of his wife at their home in the 900 block of 42nd Street.
Officers say the woman killed has been identified as Sander's wife, Blanka Sanders. Officers haven't yet said how they think Blanka was killed, but Sanders had been arrested for domestic battery by strangulation in May of this year.
Police say the woman's daughter found her mom's body after she went to the residence to check on her mother after she was unable to reach her during the day.
