Sun City Center,Fla.(970 WFLA)- A Hillsborough County Firefighter is hurt after what appears to be a freak accident.
The unidentified firefighter was in a truck on the way to a call in Sun City Center Tuesday when he fell out of the truck. He was airlifted to the hospital, but there's no word on his condition.
Fire officials say they're grateful the firefighter wasn't hit by any passing cars when he landed on the street, and they're still trying to figure out what happened.
