Tampa,Fla. (970 WFLA) A teenager is dead after a fireworks accident in Tampa.
It happened late last night on Osborne Ave., east when police say a mortar exploded while 16-year-old Joseph King was holding it.
He suffered injuries to his left hand and chest cavity. He was taken to Tampa General Hospital in extremely critical condition. He died early this morning, just after midnight.
