Tampa, Fla. (970 WFLA)- A south Tampa condo fire is being blamed on a lightning strike.
Residents at the Sheridan Woods Condominiums, in the 3000 block of West Wyoming Circle told firefighters they saw lightning strike the roof of a vacant unit around 8:30 Thursday night. The fire spread to the next door unit which was also vacant.
Residents were evacuated, no one was injured. Tampa Fire Rescue crews were able to contain the damage to two units because of the firewalls in the attic.
