Upgrades to the SunPass toll system were supposed to last a week in mid-June. Weeks later, it was still having problems and customers weren't receving their toll transactions.
Well now, the Florida Department of Transportation says the SunPass Centralized Customer Service System is getting back on track and will begin posting those toll transactions on customers' accounts.
The DOT also says individual account charges will be posted gradually so customers don't get socked with huge bills. And no penalties until the system is operating fully.
It also says the SunPass system at Tampa International Airport is completely operational.
