More mental evaluations ordered for Seminole Heights murder suspect

A competency hearing for Howell Donaldson III that was supposed to take place Friday has been postponed because he's undergoing more psychological evaluations.

In an emergency hearing Wednesday, Donaldson's defense attorneys asked for a second opinion on previous psychological assessments, so the judge ordered two more doctors to evaluate Donaldson with no objections from prosecutors.

The competency hearing has been rescheduled for July 26th.

Donaldson is charged with randomly killing four people in Tampa's Seminole Heights area over several weeks last fall.
