Temple Terrace, Fla.-(Newsradio 970 WFLA)-Police here have made an arrest in the March traffic death of 70 year-old Dr. Charles Williams. Williams was killed after his vehicle was struck by a car going at a high rate of speed at Fowler and Gillette Avenues.
Police say the investigation revealed that 35 year-old Igbinosa Oghubor of Tampa was driving a Dodge Charger at a high rate of speed when it hit Williams' car. Williams had the green light and was just starting to move on when he was hit by Oghubor.
Police say the Dodge's vehicle data recorder revealed that Oghubor's speed was between 87 and 93 miles an hour at impact.
Police arrested Oghubor at Orlando International Airport as he returned from a trip abroad.
