Clearwater, Fla.(970 WFLA)-The 48 year old driver of a speeding car that crashed into a pole, is in Bayfront Medical with life threatening injuries. Police tell us the car flipped several times near Court Street and Hillside Avenue. The impact split the car in two. It happened just before three o'clock this morning.
No one else was in the car, the drivers name has not been released.
