Cape Canaveral, Fla.(970 WFLA)- SpaceX is planning a Friday morning launch of a Falcon 9 rocket from Cape Canaveral Air Force Station.
The mission to resupply the International Space Station is scheduled to liftoff at 5:41 a.m. eastern time. A static fire test of the Falcon 9 was completed on Saturday.
SpaceX says the rocket and spacecraft being used for the mission are flight-proven, with the first stage previously launched two months ago and the Dragon cargo capsule used on an ISS resupply mission in 2016.
