Oldsmar, Fla. (970 WFLA) - A cheerleading coach faces new charges related to having sex with underage girls he coached, detectives in both Hillsborough and Pinellas Counties said.
Victor Valenty, 28, already sits in the Hillsborough County Jail on charges of sending explicit pictures of himself and traveling to meet with a 14-year-old girl he coached at the Storm All Star Cheer and Dance in Brandon. He earned faces four of sexual battery in Pinellas County because detectives say he also had sex with the girl at his home on Old Village Way.
Those sexual batteries happened between September 2016 and April of last year, according to a news release from the PCSO. Detectives say he admitted to the crimes when they interviewed him in the jail the day before. Saturday morning, the Hillsborough County Sheriff's Office said that its detectives had found another victim, a 17-year-old girl with whom Valenty had inappropriate sexual contact earlier this month, according to a news release from the HCSO.
The cheer school says it has fired Valenty.
