Not Guilty plea from passenger in deadly Bayshore Boulevard accident

An attorney for 20-year-old Tristan Herrin renewed his client's not guilty plea to misdemeanor street racing charges stemming from last month's death of a mother and young daughter as they were attempting to cross Bayshore Boulevard.

Herrin was a passenger in a Mustang driven by his brother, 18-year-old Cameron Herrin, when it struck 24-year-old Jessica Raubenolt.  She was pushing her 21-month-old daughter Lillia in a stroller across Bayshore.  Both died from their injuries.

Investigators believe Cameron Herrin was racing with his buddy, 17-year-old John Barrineau, the driver of an Altima.  Both Cameron Herrin and Barrineau are charged with vehicular homicide and street racing and have a court hearing scheduled for next week.
