Lost Dog Leads To Shooting: One Man Dead Two Injured In Ft. Meade

Fort Meade, Fla. (970 WFLA)-One person is dead two others are injured after a shooting in Ft. Meade, in southern Polk County.

The Polk County Sheriffs Office says three men were looking for their dog when they knocked on the front door of 48 year old Charles Peddycart's house in the 400 block of 3rd Street Southwest.

Soon after  Peddycart answered the door, an argument  began and according to the Polk County Sheriff's Office,  Peddycart shot the three men as there were standing on the front porch.

22 year old Teconsa McDonald died at the scene, the two injured men,  30 year old Calvin Johnson and 18 year old Edward Burgess are being treated at the hospital for gunshot wounds to the torso. 

Peddycart has not been arrested, the Polk County Sheriff's Office says this is an ongoing investigation.
