New Port Richey, Fla. (970 WFLA) - A collision between a motorcycle and a pedestrian Saturday night left both the rider and the walker dead, police said.
The 2012 Honda motorcycle going north on US-19 struck the man crossing 19 near Palmetto Rd. at about 10:30 p.m., according to a news release from New Port Richey Police.
Police had not released the names of either person, but said they both died at the scene. Speed appeared not to play a role, but officers did not know yet if drug or alcohol impairment contributed to the crash.
