Tampa, Fla.(970 WFLA)-Florida is being added to the list of states dealing with the possibility of salmonella-contaminated cut melon.
Health officials say 60 people have been sickened in five mid-western states who ate several types of pre-cut melon made from Caito Foods. No deaths have been reported.
The melons were reportedly sold at five Sprouts Farmers Market locations in the Tampa Bay area, including in Valrico, Carrollwood, S. Tampa, Clearwater and Sarasota.
