Riverview, Fla.-(Newsradio 970 WFLA)-Florida wildlife officers have identified 41 year-old Brent Davis as the man whose body was pulled from the Alafia River, near the U.S. 41 bridge.
Officers say Davis was one of three people tossed out of their 16 foot boat when it hit the bridge early this morning. In addition to Davis, 33 year-old Steven Cannon and 12 year-old Carson Cannon were thrown out of the boat after the crash.
The Cannons both survived, but Davis was missing. Steven Cannon has just minor injuries, but Carson was transported to Tampa General Hospital for treatment.
The death and the crash are both under investigation.
