One Dead, Four Hurt in Shooting at Bradenton Bar

Bradenton, Fla. (970 WFLA) - One man died and four others suffered wounds in a shooting outside a Bradenton bar early Sunday, the Manatee County Sheriff's Office said.

Deputies quote witnesses as saying that a group of men drank at the Tommy Knockers Bar on 14th Street West shortly after midnight when another group of men arrived and the two groups starting arguing. The two groups went outside and started fighting. 

At one point, according to a news release from the MCSO, one man in the later arriving group started shooting. Gabriel Conde, 39, died from a gunshot wound to the chest. Also shot were Adolfo Garcia, 29, Calvin Lewis, 22, Robert Wright, 26, and Fermin Vazquez, 18. 

Deputies describe the shooter as "a bald Hispanic male, about 5”8” tall wearing a white T-shirt and blue jean shorts," according to the news release. He is still at large.
