Tampa, Fla.-(Newsradio 970 WFLA)- Twenty seven year-old Jaime Castellano is back in the Hillsborough County Jail after being allowed out on bond just a day ago.
Castellano is accused of a hit and run on Symmes Road, near East Bay Road, involving an 18 year-old bicycle rider. The rider, Darvin Lopez-Mendez, is hospitalized with serious injuries
Castellano is facing charges of leaving the scene of an accident and for driving on a suspended license, but was still allowed to go free after posting bond. That bond has since been revoked and Castellano is behind bars again.
Hillsborough County deputies say Castellano has been in trouble before, previously facing drug, domestic battery and child abuse charges.
