Morgan Challenges Gov. Scott to Debate Medical Pot

Orlando, Fla. (970 WFLA) - The Orlando attorney who bankrolled the drive to make marijuana legal for medical use in Florida has challenged Gov. Rick Scott to debate Scott's opposition to letting patients smoke prescription pot.

Scott's Department of Health has appealed a judge's ruling that a state law banning smoking marijuana legally prescribed as medicine was unconstitutional. Morgan criticized the governor for the move in a video posted to his Twitter feed. And, last night, the lawyer who uses the catch phrase "for the people" in his ubiquitous commercials, unleashed a string of tweets that ended with his challenge to Scott, and a promise to donate $100,000 to the Governor's campaign for the U.S. Senate if he agreed.
