Sarasota Man Goes Bust For Meth And More

Sarasota, Fla.-(Newsradio 970 WFLA)-A 24-year-old Sarasota man has been arrested by deputies for trafficking in methamphetamine.  Investigators say Brandon Krieg is facing other felony charges.  

The investigation started in April when Krieg agreed to sell meth to undercover detectives. On two separate occasions, April 12 and 19, Krieg met detectives and sold nearly 7 grams of the drug. Detectives executed an arrest warrant and took Krieg into custody after the investigation.

Deputies also recovered nearly 23 grams of meth when they went to arrest Krieg. He then led detectives to a locked box inside his home where detectives seized an additional 42 grams of the drug, nearly 6 grams of marijuana and various paraphernalia.

Krieg, who lived at 3427 Clark Road, is charged with trafficking in methamphetamine, two counts of sale of methamphetamine, use of a two-way communication device to facilitate a felony, possession of marijuana, possession of narcotics equipment, and violation of probation.
