Honor Flight Heading To Washington D.C. From Clearwater Today

This morning at around 6AM, an Honor Flight of West Central Florida's Mission 34, filled with 70+ veterans departed from the St. Pete/Clearwater Airport to embark on their journey to Washington D.C. to visit the memorials dedicated in their honor.

Honor Flight of West Central Florida's mission is to recognize American Veterans for their sacrifice and service by flying them FREE OF CHARGE to Washington, D.C.  to visit and reflect at the memorials dedicated in their honor.

Take a look at some photos from some previous missions!

We also had the pleasure of speaking with Honor Flight Of West Central Florida's Board Of Director's VP, John Tornga and WW11, Vietnam & Korean Veteran, O'Neil Duscharme.

O'Neil says the honor flight he had the pleasure of taking impacted him so much that he decided that he wanted to be a volunteer, and has been with Honor Flights ever since.

Take a listen to what he had to say.
