TAMPA (970 WFLA) -- You may have see an electric bus demonstration if you were in downtown Tampa Wednesday... but there wasn't much to hear. HART CEO Jeff Seward says electric vehicles are likely to be part of the solution to lowering carbon emissions... the next step after the move from diesel to natural gas powered buses. But he says they want to look at other options... including buses powered by hydrogen fuel cells.
HART demo'd a bus produced by 40-foot Catalyst produced by Proterra. A different bus made by a different manufacturer is pictured.
