Dunedin, Fla.-(Newsradio 970 WFLA)-A former Dunedin Middle school teacher has been arrested for having sex with a 14 year-old male student. Thirty four year-old Marselia Anthony Smith is charged with three counts of lewd and lascivious battery.
One count of the charges comes from the Pinellas County Sheriff's Office because one of the incidents happened at Dunedin Middle. The other two charges come from Smith's hometown of Clearwater.
Smith was a teacher at Dunedin Middle School when the incidents started on April 1st. Smith is no longer employed at the school.
Detectives are not aware of any additional victims, but urge anyone with any other information on Smith to call the Pinellas County Sheriff's Office or Clearwater Police.
