TAMPA (970 WFLA) -- Two Tampa Bay area stores are among those shutting down in the latest round of closings by Sears.
According to Sears Holdings, the Sears store at Citrus Park Town Center and the Kmart at 5400 East Busch Boulevard will close by early September. Eligible workers will receive severance and may apply for open positions at other Kmart and Sears stores.
63 stores are on a nationwide list. The only other Florida store is a Sears in Sanford.
Sears says liquidation sales will start as early as June 14.
