Legoland Florida Sued Over Child's Face Painting

WINTER HAVEN (970 WFLA) -- A Jacksonville woman is suing a theme park, claiming her young child was disfigured by a face-painting.

In a lawsuit filed in Polk Circuit Court earlier this month, Jessica Bermudez of Jacksonville claims her son suffered a rash and skin discoloration around his mouth and both cheeks, after getting his face painted at Legoland theme park in Winter Haven in May of 2016. Almost two years later, she says, the rash is getting worse, despite several trips to the doctor and various prescriptions.

The lawsuit says the child has suffered mental anguish because of his condition. Bermudez is asking for at least 15 thousand dollars.

No response filed yet by Legoland or its parent company, Merlin Entertainments.
