Suspect Named In Ruskin Murders

Lyons, McKinsie

Ruskin, Fla.-(Newsradio 970 WFLA)-Hillsborough County deputies have named 38 year-old McKinsie Alexander Lyons (AKA: McKinsie Sharp) as the prime suspect in the January 24th murders of two people in a home on 14th Avenue, SE, here.

Thirty four year-old Juanita Donna Solorzano and 24 year-old Alexis Martinez were found shot to death inside the home. Investigators say deputies have established a motive that apparently leads to Lyons. They say the murders were not random.

Since one of the victims was pregnant, not only is Lyons charged with two counts of 1st degree murder, but is also facing charges of the murder of an unborn child. Lyons is also wanted for burglary of a dwelling with assault and battery and being a felon in possession of a firearm.

The U.S. Marshal's Florida Regional Task Force is offering a reward of up to $3,000 for information that leads to the arrest of Lyons.  You can call Crime Stoppers at 1-800-873-TIPS to report any information on Lyons.
