New Port Richey, Fla. (970 WFLA) - A hit-and-run crash killed a man on bicycle early Sunday, the Florida Highway Patrol said.
Shawn Michael Grady, 46, of New Port Richey, rode his bike south on Rowan Road near Massachusetts Avenue when a white Toyota pickup truck struck and killed him. Vehicle parts located by Troopers at the crash scene indicate that the vehicle responsible is a 2000-2002 model Toyota Tundra.
The truck took off after the crash, according to a news release from the FHP. They ask anyone who can help them identify the driver to contact them either by calling *FHP on their cell phones or Crime Stoppers at 800-873-TIPS.
