Do you ever wonder where all the candy goes that doesn't get bought at the holidays? You'd think it just goes on clearance and then what, gets thrown away?
Well, if you think that, you're about to have your life changed forever.
The Russell Stover Chocolates store in Wildwood, FL is FULL of chocolate from EVERY holiday and event possible and they are CHEAP.
The reason the candy is so affordable is because although it is still good now, by the time next years holiday comes around, the candy will no longer be good.
Therefore, half of the Russell Stover store is dedicated to selling ALMOST outdated candy at a very affordable price.
I promise, it is still equally as tasty as the chocolate you'd get in a stocking or Easter Basket.. (Just much cheaper)
Another thing that they sell on the discounter part of the store is BLOOPERS. Yes, typically you only hear that word when dealing with shows or movie outtakes but in this case, they are CHOCOLATE BLOOPERS.
Although Willy Wonka may have you under the impression that everything that comes from a chocolate factory is perfect, that is not the case.
Lucky for us, the mishaps that come out of the factory don't get thrown away... but instead, they get sold to us in the Russell Stover's store at a discounted price.
I don't know about you, but I am okay with a little blooper in my chocolate if I am getting it for 70% off.
Now, this store isn't ONLY about selling discounted, almost outdated candy, but they also sell the new stuff too!
From mini chocolates to boxed chocolates. the other side of the store is covered from head to toe with any and all the chocolates you may need for your next gift!
Believe it or not, this isn't even the best part of the Russell Stover Chocolates store in Wildwood!
On your way out the door, you can snag some coffee, ice cream, fudge or chocolate covered treats for your car ride home!
What's better than that?
If you're a chocolate lover like me, I bet I can guess where you're going!
I should also mention you get a free piece of chocolate upon entering the store. :)
