Wimauma Woman Arrested After Setting Fire And Threatening To Kill Her Ex

Gibsonton, Fla. (970 WFLA)-A 27 year old Wimauma woman is accused of trying to kill her ex-boyfriend, setting the home the two used to share with the child they have together on fire, and writing threats to kill him on the interior walls of the residence.

The Hillsborough Sheriff's Office report says on May Ninth, Martha Morales-Santizo set a fire inside the home in the 12,000 block of U.S. 41 in Gibsonton,  knowing that her ex-boyfriend, 27 year old Jose Hernandez-Rojas and 19 year old Echaverria Lopez were inside at the time.

The fire caused over $150,000 in damage to the residence and Hernandez-Rojas vehicle.

The sheriffs office say Morales-Santizo wrote on the wall in Spanish, that she was going to kill him, the child they have in common, and herself.

Hernandez-Rojas told deputies he had seen  Morales-Santizo outside, holding a red gas can just before the fire.  No one was injured.  Morales-Santizo is being held in the Hillsborough County Jail.
