St. Pete Murder Victim Identified

St. Petersburg, Fla.-(Newsradio 970 WFLA)-Police here have identified 57 year-old Melvin Lee Oliver as the man killed at 100 M.L.K. Street, North.  Officers say Oliver died of stab wounds.

Officers were called to the M.L.K. address on a report of a fight.  When they arrived, they found Oliver on the ground.  Oliver was pronounced as deceased later at the hospital.

Police say Oliver lived at 3617 12th Street, North.

Police are talking with people who live and work in the area, but do not yet have a suspect in the homicide.
