Sarasota, Fla.-(Newsradio 970 WFLA)-Police here have ended a two-month stolen property investigation with the arrest of 58 year-old Lazaro Rodriguez of Sarasota. Police continue to look for a second man involved, thirty one year-old Ricardo Ruiz.
Rodriguez is charged with multiple counts of dealing in stolen property and possession of a controlled substance. Cops say the drug charges come from a plastic bottle, containing pieces of cocaine, they found in a vehicle that belongs of Rodriguez.
Sarasota Police say they recovered stolen property from 12 different burglary cases, totaling more than 65 items from 11 separate victims. Officers say most of the stolen goods were landscaping and construction equipment.
