Tampa, Fla.-(Newsradio 970 WFLA)-Florida's latest unemployment report is looking good. The Labor Department says Florida's jobless rate is 3.9 percent and that number hasn't changed in 7 months.
The report also keeps the Sunshine State as a national leader in job creation. Florida Added almost 14,000 new jobs in March.
Hillsborough County's unemployment rate dropped from 3.5 percent in February to 3.4 percent in March. Pinellas County's jobless rate held steady at 3.4 percent.
Saint John's and Okaloosa counties have the lowest rates in the state at 3 percent. Sumter County has the highest rate in the state at 5.4 percent unemployment.
