South Padre Island,TX. (970 WFLA)-A tip is being credited with bringing the search for a southwest Florida murder suspect to a successful end.
U.S.Marshals yesterday arrested Lois Riess in Texas after learning she was in a restaurant on South Padre Island. She was wanted for killing her husband in Minnesota and a woman in Fort Myers Beach more than a week ago.
The Lee County Sheriff's Office says they're working expeditiously to bring her back to the area to face murder charges.
