Tampa, Florida-(Newsradio 970 WFLA)-Hillsborough County deputies say a cold-case fugitive has been arrested in the Dominican Republic thanks to help from police there and the U.S. Marshal's Fugitive Task Force.
Deputies say 76 year-old Jose Antonio Gonzalez had been wanted since failing to appear on two counts of lewd and lascivious molestation and on one count of lewd and lascivious exhibition. Gonzalez had been scheduled to appear in court on the charges back in 2000 as part of a Tampa Police investigation.
Gonzalez has been extradited to Tampa to Face the charges.
