Tampa, Fla.(970 WFLA)-The Lightning's quest for the Stanley Cup is off to a good start. They took game one of their first-round playoff series last night with a 5-2 win over New Jersey.
The Bolts jumped out to a three-nothing lead in front of the home crowd before the Devils scored twice. The Lightning put it away with two goals in the third period, and they now look to game two Saturday afternoon at Amalie Arena. The series will then shift to New Jersey for game's three and four on Monday and Wednesday, respectively.
On Saturday the pre-game show starts at 2 pm, face off at 3 pm on Newsradio 970 WFLA!
