Tampa, Fla. (970 WFLA)- Two separate vehicle verses pedestrian accidents last night, killed one man and left another with critical injuries.
According to the highway patrol, around 6:30 pm, a 32 year old Tampa man, who had crashed his car into the median and was trying to cross I-75 near State Road 54 in Pasco County, was hit by a Chevy Traverse. The unidentified victim was pronounced dead at the scene.
Just over an hour later, 23 year old James Walmsley of Safety Harbor was hit by an SUV as he tried to run across Roosevelt Blvd. near Ulmerton Road in Pinellas County. He's in critical condition at Bayfront Medical Center.
