Pinellas Park,Fla.(970 WFLA)-Three people were treated for injuries after a box truck hit a pick up truck , sending it crashing into a Kentucky Fried Chicken Restaurant. It happened in Pinellas Park at 66th Street and Park Boulevard.
Two of the victims were inside the KFC, and the third victim was driving the pick up, hit by the box truck outside the building. The box truck driver, 26 year old Edward Reyes-Garcia of Orlando was not injured. He told police the brakes on the truck failed. Police investigators determined the crash was caused by a mechanical failure, and Reyes-Garcia was not charged with a traffic violations.
