Road Debris Smashes Windshield Injures St. Petersburg Passenger


Tampa, Fla. (970 WFLA)- A passenger in a car traveling north on I-275  suffered critical injuries after a heavy piece of metal, smashed through the windshield! 

The highway patrol says the seven inch piece of metal was lying in the roadway of I-275, just before the hump on the Howard Frankland Bridge.    It  was hit by a red sedan, bounced off the  hood of the car behind it , then busted through the windshield,  hitting 65 year old Margaret Musto of St. Petersburg.  She was taken to St. Joseph's Hospital.  The driver of the Lexas,  62 year old Glenn Musto was not injured.
