Sarasota,Fla. (970 WFLA)- A 47-year-old Sarasota man is facing Possession of Child Pornography charges.
Detectives acting on a tip from the National Center for Missing and Exploited Children determined a particular IP address was used to download 11 files previously identified as containing child pornography.
Detectives confirmed the IP address was leased to a home in the 2500 block of Bucida Drive in Sarasota and obtained a search warrant for the property. Detectives learned that Gary Moor II, was living at the home.
During a search of the Sarasota property and a forensic scan of his computer, detectives discovered 40 images all determined to be child pornography.
Moor of Sarasota, was taken into custody and charged with 40 felony counts of Possession: Sexual Performance by a Child. He was released on $20,000 bond. The investigation is ongoing and additional charges are pending.
