New Port Richey, Fla.-(Newsradio 970 WFLA)-Another day and another school threat. This time the threat was directed at River Ridge High School.
Pasco County deputies say it was a threat of a shooting at the school. That threat came by way of social media rumors. Deputies checked out the report and found nothing credible.
Extra deputies were at the school, on Town Center Road, as an added measure of security.
The rumored threat caused the school to cancel a planned pep rally.
