Mulberry, Fla. (970 WFLA) - Polk County deputies seek the public's help as they investigate a woman's death they deem suspicious.
The Polk County Sheriff's Office says that friends had asked them to do a wellness check on Tammy Butler, 58, at her home on NW 1st Avenue in Mulberry after they had not heard from her for several days.Thursday at about 6:15 p.m., deputies found Butler "obviously deceased inside," according to a PCSO news release.
They look for witnesses who spoke with Butler "between Saturday, March 17th and Thursday, March 22nd, or saw anything suspicious in the area," according to the release.
